Live webcast plan fails due to malfunction of servers

Due to malfunction of servers the live webcasting planned by the Election Commission for the Lok Sabha elections did not materialize. �Only 181 CCTV cameras provided live webcasting. We couldn�t monitor activities in most sensitive booths. Neither the EC nor the corporation has taken steps to resolve the issues.� District election officer Vikram Kapur said the poll proceedings had been recorded and would be transferred to a CD on Friday in the presence of observers. Many voters complained of lack of CCTV monitoring.
