Press Information Bureau releases �General Elections 2014-Reference Handbook�

A reference hand book called �General Elections 2014-Reference Handbook� was released by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) on Thursday. This handbook will provide information about the Lok Sabha polls. It was released in Delhi, and a Tamil version was released simultaneously in Chennai. It explains various aspects of general elections including systematic voters� education and electoral participation, none of the above (NOTA), voter verifiable paper audit trail and model code of conduct and has FAQs on election management. A digital version of the handbook is available on the PIB website (www.pibchennai.gov.in) in Tamil and English.
