Coimbatore - Nagercoil Train to Run on Alternate Route on September 29 and October 1

Train services between Coimbatore and Nagercoil will operate on an alternate route on September 29 and October 1 due to maintenance work on the railway line between Karur and Murthipalayam stations.

According to a statement issued by the Salem Railway Division, the Coimbatore–Nagercoil train will not operate on its usual route on these two days. Instead, it will run via Pothanur, Kinathukadavu, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Palani, Oddanchatram and Dindigul.

Due to the route diversion, the train will not stop at North Coimbatore, Peelamedu, Singanallur, Irugur, Sulur Road, Somanur, Tiruppur, Uthukuli, Ingur, Erode, Pasur, Kodumudi, Pugalur, Karur and Eriyodu stations.

Palakkad Town - Tiruchirappalli Train

The Palakkad Town Tiruchirappalli train will also be affected on September 29 and October 1. On these two days, the service will operate only between Palakkad and Pugalur.

To assist passengers, an unreserved special train will operate between Pugalur and Tiruchirappalli on both days. The special train will stop at the usual railway stations along the route.
