Loyola College Chennai has announced admissions for the 2026-27 academic session for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes through its online admission process.

For undergraduate admissions, candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination. Postgraduate admissions are conducted based on graduation marks and may include entrance tests, group discussions and personal interviews for selected programmes. Candidates applying for Media programmes, including B.Sc Visual Communication, BMM, 3D Animation and Digital Journalism, are required to appear for the Loyola Visual Aptitude Test (LoVAT).

The college offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma and postgraduate diploma programmes across various disciplines. Popular courses include B.Sc, BA, B.Voc, M.Sc, M.Com, MA and M.Voc, along with PhD programmes in several academic fields.

The fee structure varies depending on the programme and qualifying board. For Shift I courses, B.Sc fees range from INR 14,520 to INR 20,480, BA fees range from INR 13,120 to INR 14,550, M.Sc fees range from INR 14,070 to INR 15,480, while M.Voc fees are around INR 51,670 to INR 51,740.

Loyola College Chennai, established in 1925, is an autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Madras. The college has been recognised as a "College of Excellence" by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an "A++" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In the NIRF 2025 rankings, Loyola College secured the 14th position in the College category.
