Tamil Nadu Police Launches 1091 Singappen Helpline for Women and Child Safety Across the State

Women and children across Tamil Nadu can now seek immediate police assistance by calling 1091, the dedicated helpline of the Singappen Special Force (SSF). The helpline has been integrated with the 112 Emergency Response System to ensure faster response and better coordination during emergencies.

Available 24x7, the service is designed to help those facing harassment, violence, abuse, stalking, intimidation, or any situation requiring urgent police intervention. The Tamil Nadu Police said the initiative aims to strengthen safety and provide quick support to women and children across the State.
