Tamil Nadu Police to Auction 25 Scrap Vehicles on October 29 in Chennai
The Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) Office has announced that 25 vehicles, including 14 four-wheelers and 11 two-wheelers, previously used and scrapped by the State Crime Records Bureau and the Coast Guard Police Department, will be auctioned to the public on October 29 at 12 noon.
The public auction will be conducted at the Director of Police’s Office premises in Mylapore, Chennai.
According to the official statement, individuals interested in participating in the auction must register in advance by paying a deposit of ₹1,000 between October 22 and October 24 (till 5 PM). Upon registration, participants will receive a token from the Police Office Motor Vehicle Wing, which will allow them to take part in the auction.
Officials have advised interested bidders to complete the registration process within the specified dates to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
