The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has announced 10978 vacancies in Tamil Nadu Police Department 2nd Grade Policemen, Prison Warden 2nd Grade, and the Fire-fighting Department.

Applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates from 26th September.

Post: Policemen

Total Vacancies: 10978

Monthly Salary: Rs. 18200 - Rs. 52900

Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have passed 10th Standard.

Age Limit: 
Candidates must be in the age group 18-24.  The concession is given in the age limit for the Backward Communities, Adi Dravida, etc.

Examination Fee: Rs. 130. This can be paid online.

Selection Procedure: 
Candidates will be selected based on the performance in the written examination, Physical Ski, and the verification of related documents/certificates. The written test will carry 80 marks. Physical skill will carry 15 marks. There are 5 special marks. Thus, the examination will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.
