The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated the possibility of an atmospheric circulation developing over the North Andaman Sea around October 12. Under its influence, a low-pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea.

Low-Pressure Area Likely Over the Bay of Bengal

The weather system is expected to move west-northwestwards and may develop into a low-pressure area over the southeastern Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of the Andaman Islands around October 13.
