Zomato Removes Analogue Dairy Dishes from Platform

Zomato has announced a zero-tolerance policy on analogue dairy products, directing restaurants on its platform to remove dishes containing analogue dairy or switch to natural dairy products.

The company said dishes declared by restaurant partners as containing analogue dairy have been delisted with immediate effect.

Restaurants have been asked to review supplier labels and ingredient details to ensure accurate information is provided to customers. Non-compliant restaurants may be removed from the Zomato platform.

Zomato said the move is aimed at improving food transparency, quality and healthier choices for consumers, while aligning with applicable food safety regulations.
