RCB Defeat Gujarat Titans to Win Back-to-Back IPL Titles

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) successfully defended their crown by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets in the IPL 2026 final, becoming only the third team in tournament history to win consecutive IPL titles.

Chasing a target of 156, RCB reached 161/5 in 18 overs, thanks to a match-winning unbeaten 75 runs from Virat Kohli, who also recorded his fastest IPL fifty and highest-ever playoff score.

Earlier, RCB’s bowlers produced a disciplined performance to restrict Gujarat Titans to 155/8.
