Voters Can Use EPIC or 12 Alternative ID Proofs

The Election Commission has announced that voters can cast their vote using either the Photo Voter ID Card (EPIC) or any one of 12 approved identity documents at polling stations.
Accepted ID Proofs Include:
Aadhaar Card
MGNREGA Job Card
Post Office/Bank Passbook with Photo
Health Insurance Smart Card (issued by Labour Ministry)
Ayushman Bharat Health Card
Driving Licence
PAN Card
NPR Smart Card (issued by Registrar General of India)
Indian Passport
Pension Document with Photo
Government/PSU Employee ID Card with Photo
MP/MLA/MLC Official Identity Card
Disability ID Card
Voters are advised to carry any one of these valid documents to ensure smooth verification and avoid inconvenience at polling booths.
