Anna University and NSE Academy to Introduce PG Programme in Financial Analytics
Anna University, in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange Academy (NSEA), is set to introduce a Postgraduate Programme in Financial Analytics, aimed at meeting the growing demand for skilled professionals in data-driven finance.
The programme is designed to equip students and working professionals with advanced analytical skills required to evaluate financial markets, investment instruments, business performance, and economic trends using modern tools and techniques.
According to officials, the course will be conducted as an 11-month online weekend programme, making it suitable for final-year students, graduates, and working professionals. Classes will include live online sessions, practical assignments, and hands-on training, delivered jointly by faculty members from Anna University and industry experts from NSE Academy.
The curriculum will cover key areas such as financial statement analysis, financial econometrics, time-series analysis, technical analysis, risk assessment, and Python for financial analytics. The programme focuses on real-world applications and market-oriented learning.
Candidates who successfully complete the course will receive a PG Certification in Financial Analytics jointly awarded by Anna University and NSE Academy. The programme is open to graduates from any discipline with a minimum qualifying percentage, as well as final-year students.
This initiative is expected to enhance career opportunities in banking, financial services, stock markets, investment firms, fintech companies, risk management, and analytics-based roles.
