Important News!! On 2nd June, all schools in TN will reopen!!
The current academic year 2024-25 would soon get completed and the students across various schools in TN would be enjoying their summer vacations from 25th April. The news now is that for the new academic year 2025-26 all the schools would reopen on 2nd of June.
It was brought to light by a notification from the school education dept that the final examinations for the students belonging to the classes 6 to 9 would end on 24t April. The summer holidays would commence from 25th of April.
The last working day for the teachers for the current academic year would be 30th April. It is said that the teachers who are involved in answer sheets evaluation works and other works etc related to declaration of the results would wrap up their work by 30th of April.
The notification further added that all schools including government and government aided high and higher secondary schools would reopen for the new academic year on 2nd of June that is Monday. It is worth mentioning that the school heads have been asked to undertake preparatory works to be ready for the reopening.
