Race against time now in preparation of question papers and exam schedules etc by teachers for the students!!

For the academic year 2022-23, 28th of April 2023 would be the last working day for the schools in Tamil Nadu and this was announced last week. Now, the teachers are racing against time to prepare question papers and examination timetable etc for the class 4 to 9 students.
The lack of planning plus the last minute announcement from the school education dept have put teachers and the respective district education officers in a dilemma now regarding the conduction of the exams for the classes 4 to 9. There would be assessments both online and offline for the final exam for the classes 1 to 3. It would take place from 17th April to 21st April 2023. Now, each district in Tn has been announcing tech exam dates for the final exams of other classes.
On 11th of April, the exams would begin for Thiruvarur district school students with Tamil language paper as the first exam . on 24th of April, the students would write social studies subjects as their last exams. It was mentioned by a govt school teacher from Nagapattinam that after 28th April was announced as the last day the school education dept had instructed all the schools to organise exams between 10th to 28th April. Till now, no date has been fixed for the examinations.
In the normal scenario, the govt as well as govt aided schools across TN would follow the same timetable in the middle and high schools for the classes 4 to 8 and 6 to 9 respectively. This has been disrupted this year.
