GST raised by 5% for large cars and 7% for luxury cars

The central finance minister Arun Jaitley informed that GST has been increased by 7% for SUV luxury cars. GST is also up by 5% for the large cars.

The minister also announced that there is no change in GST for small cars.

The above decisions were taken during the GST Council meeting conducted on Saturday, 9th September in Hyderabad.
