Be ready for water supply disruption on September 16
On 16th September, owing to unprecedented maintenance works as proposed by TANGEDCO, water production at Nemmeli desalination plant will be halted between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Hence, it is likely that Southern parts of Chennai including Velachery, Sholinganallur, Adyar, Besant Nagar, Injambakkam, Kottivakkam Neelankarai, Perungudi, Thiruvanmiyur, Palavakkam, Mandaiveli, and Mylapore may get hit.
As water shortage is likely, people are requested to have enough water storage at their houses well in advance.
