Chennai Suburban and Express Trains Delayed, Passengers Affected

Chennai: Suburban electric trains and express trains in Chennai are running late today, causing inconvenience to passengers. The delays have affected people travelling to schools, colleges, and offices.

Suburban train services, which are widely used by lakhs of passengers in Chennai, have been significantly affected. Electric trains operating from Chengalpattu towards Chennai Beach are running late.

Similarly, electric trains travelling towards Chennai Beach via Tambaram are reportedly running 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule.

The delays have caused inconvenience to students and office-goers travelling during the morning hours.

Trains arriving in Chennai from the southern districts are also reportedly running more than one hour late.

According to reports, the delays are due to a signal failure. As a result, passengers are facing considerable inconvenience.
