Chennai Gold Rate Today, November 4, 2026: 22K Gold Rises by Rs 25 Per Gram

Gold prices in Chennai increased on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, according to the latest Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants Association (MJDTA) rates. The price of 22-carat gold rose by Rs 25 per gram, while 18-carat and 14-carat gold prices increased by Rs 20 and Rs 15 per gram, respectively. Silver prices remained unchanged.

The latest gold and silver prices in Chennai are:

22-carat gold: Rs 12,825 (+Rs 25)

18-carat gold: Rs 10,495 (+Rs 20)

14-carat gold: Rs 8,410 (+Rs 15)

Silver: Rs 200 (No change)

22-Carat Gold Price Increases in Chennai

The price of 22-carat gold increased from Rs 12,800 to Rs 12,825 per gram, registering a rise of Rs 25.

As a result, the price of one sovereign of gold (8 grams) increased by Rs 200, from Rs 1,02,400 to Rs 1,02,600.

Silver Rate Remains Unchanged

Silver is priced at Rs 200 per gram in Chennai, equivalent to Rs 2,00,000 per kilogram. The rate remained unchanged compared with the previous trading session.
