Ultraviolette X-47 Venom Electric Motorcycle Launched in India with 343 Km Range

Ultraviolette has launched the new X-47 Venom electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of Rs. 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are open, with deliveries expected to begin around November 2026. The introductory price is applicable only to the first 5,000 customers.

The X-47 Venom is the first motorcycle to use Ultraviolette`s new VX-100 100V platform. It is powered by a 30kW (40bhp) electric motor that produces 550Nm of wheel torque. According to the company, the motorcycle accelerates from 0-60kmph in 2.7 seconds and 0-100kmph in 5.9 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 155kmph.

The electric motorcycle offers an IDC-certified range of up to 343km and weighs 180kg, making it up to 20kg lighter than the X-47 crossover. It features an 11kWh SRB-11 battery pack, a new UV LightFury motor and an upgraded motor control unit.

For charging, the X-47 Venom comes with a 1.6kW onboard charger and supports 12kW DC fast charging.

The motorcycle also gets a 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument console, integrated front and rear dash cameras, cruise control and Mappls-powered navigation. A park assist feature uses the rear camera feed to help riders reverse the motorcycle in tight spaces.

Additional technology includes radar-based safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings. The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom is also scheduled to be showcased at EICMA 2026.
