Chennai Private Job Fair on August 22: Over 30,000 Vacancies Available

A major private job fair in Chennai will be held on August 22 under the Employment and Training Department. The event is being organised by the Chennai District Employment and Career Guidance Centre to connect job seekers with leading private companies.

The Chennai private job fair will take place at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Ashok Nagar, from 8 AM to 3 PM.

Over 30,000 Private Sector Jobs

More than 300 private companies are expected to participate in the recruitment drive, offering over 30,000 job vacancies across different sectors.

Candidates who have completed 10th standard, 12th standard, diploma, ITI, engineering and degree courses can participate. Opportunities will also be available for candidates with skills in computer operations, tailoring and other fields.

Free Registration and Career Support

Participation in the job fair is free of cost. Candidates can also register for free skill development programmes offered through the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.

The event will also provide guidance on entrepreneurship opportunities, government schemes and bank loans through the District Industries Centre and Lead Bank.

Candidates selected for private-sector jobs through the fair will not lose their Employment Exchange registration number.
