TANGEDCO Services Temporarily Unavailable in Several Chennai Areas

TANGEDCO has announced that electricity billing and related services will be temporarily unavailable in several Chennai areas due to server and software upgrade works.

The affected areas include Adyar, IT Corridor, Tambaram, Pallavaram, Sholinganallur, KK Nagar, Porur, Guindy, Anna Nagar, Ambattur, and Avadi.

During this period, electricity bill payment counters, online bill payment services, and new power connection applications will not function.

The temporary disruption started on May 23 and will continue till midnight on May 24. TANGEDCO said the upgrade is being carried out to provide faster and improved services for consumers.
