Tamil Nadu Launches WhatsApp Helpline to Report Bribery in Government Offices

The Tamil Nadu government has introduced a WhatsApp helpline (94981 80936) for citizens to report bribery in government offices. Chief Secretary Sai Kumar has issued a circular directing all government departments to display the WhatsApp number on their official websites, along with a link to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) website.

Citizens can report incidents of bribery through WhatsApp (94981 80936), by email at [email protected], or by calling 044-22321090, 044-22321085, 044-22310989, or 044-22342142. The initiative is part of the Tamil Nadu government`s efforts to strengthen anti-corruption measures and encourage the public to report corrupt practices.
