Chennai Suburban and MEMU Train Services Partially Cancelled Due to Engineering Work
Due to engineering and maintenance work, Southern Railway has announced temporary changes in electric train and MEMU services on select routes in Tamil Nadu.
Changes on Chennai Central – Gudur Section
Engineering work is being carried out between Minjur and Ponneri stations on the Chennai Central – Gudur section, leading to partial cancellation of electric train services.
The Chennai Central – Gummidipoondi electric train, scheduled to depart at 11:20 PM on February 4, 6 and 7, will be partially cancelled between Minjur and Gummidipoondi.
The Gummidipoondi – Chennai Central electric train, scheduled to depart at 3:50 AM on February 5, 7 and 8, will be partially cancelled between Gummidipoondi and Minjur.
MEMU Train Changes Due to Engineering Work
Due to engineering work between Mayilam and Tindivanam, changes have also been announced for MEMU train services on the Tambaram–Villupuram route.
The Tambaram – Villupuram MEMU train, scheduled to depart at 9:40 AM on February 5 and 7, will be partially cancelled between Tindivanam and Villupuram.
The Villupuram – Chennai Beach MEMU train, scheduled to depart at 1:30 PM on the same dates, will be partially cancelled between Villupuram and Tindivanam.
