TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2026: 821 Vacancies Announced

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced 821 vacancies under Group II and Group IIA services. The recruitment notification includes 41 Group II posts and 780 Group IIA posts, offering opportunities for candidates seeking government jobs in Tamil Nadu.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2026 Important Dates

Candidates can submit their applications online until September 9, 2026. The common preliminary examination for Group II and Group IIA services is scheduled to be held on November 1, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The dates for the respective Group II and Group IIA main examinations will be announced by TNPSC at a later stage.

TNPSC Group 2 Selection Process

Candidates applying for the recruitment will first have to appear for a common preliminary examination. Those who qualify will proceed to separate main examinations for Group II and Group IIA services.

The final ranking will be prepared based on the marks secured in Paper II of the respective main examination, as per the recruitment process.

TNPSC Group 2 Application Fee

The TNPSC Group II and Group IIA preliminary examination fee is ₹100. Candidates must complete their One Time Registration (OTR) before submitting the online application.
