The passenger train departing Tambaram at 9:40 AM towards Villupuram will be partially cancelled:
March 17, 2026: Cancelled between Perani – Villupuram
March 18, 2026: Cancelled between Vikravandi – Villupuram
The return train departing Villupuram at 1:30 PM towards Chennai Beach will also face partial cancellation:
March 17, 2026: Cancelled between Villupuram – Perani
March 18, 2026: Cancelled between Villupuram – Vikravandi
Reason for Service Change
The temporary changes are due to track maintenance work being carried out in the Vikravandi yard and Mundiyampakkam section, aimed at improving safety and operational efficiency.
