Chennai Metro to Operate on Sunday Timetable for Gandhi Jayanthi

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced that it will follow the Sunday timetable for train operations on Gandhi Jayanthi, October 2, 2024. Metro trains will operate from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, providing convenient travel options for commuters.

During peak hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, trains will run every 7 minutes. For non-peak hours, which include the time from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, trains will be available every 10 minutes. Additionally, during the extended non-peak hours from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, trains will operate every 15 minutes.
