Gas Cylinder Supply Disrupted; Hotels Shut, HCLTech Advises Work From Home
The supply of commercial cooking gas cylinders has reportedly been disrupted following the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. As a result, the waiting period for booking domestic LPG cylinders has also increased, raising concerns among consumers.
Due to the shortage, several hotels and eateries in different cities have temporarily shut down as they are unable to obtain commercial gas cylinders. Reports suggest that the disruption has affected major cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.
Amid the situation, HCLTech has advised its employees in Chennai to work from home until the situation stabilizes. In a statement, the company assured that it would provide the necessary support to employees while remote work continues.
