72.26 Lakh persons have registered in Employment Exchanges up to November
The state government of Tamil Nadu has informed that as up to 30th November, 72.26 persons have registered in the Employment Exchange Office seeking a government job.
Persons with academic qualifications right from a pass in the 10th Standard to graduates have registered their names in employment exchanges. The state government of Tamil Nadu has been releasing details on these registrations once in 3 months.
Accordingly, as on 30th November, the number of people who have registered in employment exchanges seeking government jobs is 7226792.
Age wise data of the registrations:
- Under 18 years of age (completed school education) - 1970734
- Age-group 18-23 (college students) - 1449613
- Age-group (24-35) � 2684780
- Age-group (36-56) - 1105332
- Total persons registering their names � 7226792
The enthusiasm shown by differently-abled persons
Apart from the above, a large number of differently-abled people have also registered in the employment exchanges with a high degree of enthusiasm!
- Hand/leg handicap � 99111
