Fantastic news regarding the consecration of the 1300 year old Kancheepuram temple!!
For nearly 1300 years, Ekambaranathar temple has been present in Kancheepuram and this temple is now making superb news.
On Sunday, it was revealed by the temple official that consecration of this 1300 year old Arulmigu Ekambaranathar temple would take place on 8th of December after 17 years.
He explained that this famous temple managed under HR & CE belonging to the TN government underwent renovations. Point is that the HR & CE minister Mr. P.K. Sekarbabu officially announced that the date of consecration would be on 18th December.
It was later brought out by executive officer of HR & CE department P. Muthulakshmi that every 12 years once temples organise consecration ceremony. She spoke about how in Ekambaranathar temple there were as many as 34 renovation works. She concluded that there were still some pending works and it would be completed by 8th December.
