Chennai Metro Water Grievance Meeting on October 10 at 15 Offices

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) will conduct a public grievance redressal meeting on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 AM to 1 PM at 15 area offices across Chennai. The meeting aims to address public complaints and concerns related to drinking water supply and sewerage services.

The grievance meeting is held on the second Saturday of every month under the supervision of an area-level supervising engineer.

15 Areas Where the Meeting Will Be Held

The public grievance meeting will take place at the area offices in Tiruvottiyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Royapuram, Thiru.Vi.Ka. Nagar, Ambattur, Anna Nagar, Teynampet, Kodambakkam, Valasaravakkam, Alandur, Adyar, Perungudi and Sholinganallur.

Issues the Public Can Raise

Residents can submit petitions in person regarding various water supply and sewerage-related issues, including:

      -Drinking water supply problems

      -Sewerage and drainage-related complaints

      -Drinking water and sewerage taxes and charges

      -Delays in obtaining new water and sewerage connections

      -Pending applications and related queries

      -Rainwater harvesting systems and their maintenance

Officials will receive complaints and provide clarification on the issues raised during the meeting.

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has requested residents to participate in the grievance redressal meeting and use the opportunity to bring their concerns to the attention of the authorities.
