Tamil Nadu Elections 2026: Vijay’s Trichy Campaign Set for Sunday
With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled for April 23, campaigning has intensified across the state.
Vijay, leader of the TVK party, is contesting from Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East constituencies. He had earlier filed his nomination in Tiruchirappalli and began his campaign near Gandhi Market.
After touring several districts to support party candidates, Vijay is now expected to resume campaigning in Tiruchirappalli on Sunday evening.
According to reports, he will travel from Chennai to Tiruchirappalli by flight and conduct a roadshow through key areas including Wireless Road, TVS Tollgate, Chinthamani Anna Statue, Chathiram Bus Stand, Singarathope, Marakkadai, and Palakkarai.
His visit is expected to draw attention as campaigning enters its final phase ahead of polling.
