Sudden Implementation of Water Bell Scheme in the schools across Tamil Nadu now!!
Consuming water is very important for the students and measures have been taken in this regard now in the schools in Tamil Nadu.
It must be noted that the TN education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamzohi had announced that a water bell scheme would be introduced in the schools in TN. The aim behind this would be to encourage the students to drink water. Five minutes would be allotted for this. The minister issued guidelines last Saturday to implement this.
It is true that dehydration would occur in the students if they don`t drink water and due to this their cognition, attention and academic performance etc would get affected. Hence, encouraging the students to drink water would be superb. The headmasters of govt as well as govt aided schools in TN have been advised to implement the water bell scheme immediately in the schools to improve the student`s health.
It is learnt that a water bell would be run thrice per day and the sound would be different from the usual sound. That is, water bell would be rung at 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily and the students would be encouraged to drink water. The water bell time would be changed based on the break time of the schools.
Two to three minutes time would be given for the students to drink water and they must not go outside their classrooms. The students must bring their own water bottles. The students must be informed about this clearly. This was mentioned in the guidelines. The scheme that came into effect yesterday received good response from the parents.
