Minnagam Service Temporarily Affected: Register Power Cut Complaints via WhatsApp

The Minnagam integrated electricity consumer service centre of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) is temporarily facing a technical issue affecting its telephone call service. Due to the disruption, consumers have been advised to register their power-related complaints through WhatsApp.

The direct call service to the Minnagam helpline number 94987 94987 has been temporarily affected due to a technical problem in the BSNL system. The electricity board has advised consumers to use WhatsApp as an alternative to report power cuts and other electricity-related complaints.

BSNL Technical Issue Affects Minnagam Call Service

The 94987 94987 Minnagam helpline is normally available 24 hours a day for consumers to report issues such as power cuts, voltage problems and new electricity connection-related complaints.

Due to an unexpected technical problem in the BSNL telephone network, direct calls to the helpline are currently unavailable.

After being informed about the issue, technical teams from the electricity board and BSNL officials have been working together to restore the telephone service as quickly as possible.

How to Register Power Complaints Through WhatsApp

Although the direct telephone service is temporarily unavailable, the electricity board has stated that alternative complaint registration facilities continue to operate.

Consumers can send their complaints through WhatsApp to 94987 94987.

When registering a complaint, consumers can provide their Consumer Number, area name and details of the power interruption through a WhatsApp message. Relevant information can also be shared in the form of a photograph.

Direct Call Service to Resume Soon

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers due to the technical issue.

Consumers have been requested to cooperate until the direct telephone service is restored. The board said that the call service will resume once the BSNL connectivity-related repair work is completed.

Until then, consumers can use WhatsApp at 94987 94987 to register complaints related to power interruptions.
