Chennai: As mentioned in the annual examination schedule, the notification for the Combined Group 2 and Group 2A examination will be released on August 11, TNPSC Chairman S.K. Prabhakar has said.

The TNPSC releases an annual planner detailing the examinations to be conducted during the year, the posts covered, notification dates and examination dates. Of the six examinations included in the 2026 annual planner, notifications have already been issued for three, and preparations are underway to conduct them.

The Group 2, Group 4 and Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts) are the three major examinations yet to be notified. Although notifications for the Group 2 and Group 4 examinations have not been released, coaching classes have already begun at government and private training centres.

Regarding the competitive examinations scheduled to be notified in August and the number of vacancies, TNPSC Chairman S.K. Prabhakar said:
