Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry Admissions 2026: Apply for Direct Second-Year BE/BTech Courses Before July 7

The Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) has invited online applications for Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry Admissions (TNLEA) 2026-27 for direct admission into the second year of BE and BTech degree programmes.

The admission process covers government engineering colleges, government-aided engineering colleges, constituent colleges and university departments of Anna University and Annamalai University, as well as self-financing engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu.

Candidates who have completed a Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline are eligible to apply. BSc graduates who studied Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level or candidates with a BS Mathematics degree can also apply under the lateral entry scheme.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications online through TNLEA Official Website on or before July 7, 2026.
