To manage the surge in travel during the long holiday period, the State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) has announced the operation of 1,774 special buses across Tamil Nadu.
The move comes in view of Telugu New Year (March 19), Ramzan (March 21), and the weekend holidays, leading to increased passenger demand.

From Chennai Kilambakkam:
March 18: 450 buses
March 19: 345 buses
Destinations include Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Nagercoil, and more
From Chennai Koyambedu:
March 18: 100 buses
March 19: 90 buses
Routes include Tiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur, Bengaluru
Additional:
200 buses from cities like Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, and Erode
24 buses from Madhavaram

Return Travel (March 22):
Around 565 special buses will be operated from various locations to Chennai and Bengaluru for return passengers.
