IndiGo to Increase Ticket Prices From Tomorrow as Fuel Charges Rise

IndiGo, one of India’s largest airlines, has announced an increase in ticket prices due to the rise in fuel charges.

IndiGo operates hundreds of domestic and international flights every day. With jet fuel prices increasing, the airline has decided to levy an additional fuel surcharge. The revised charges will come into effect from tomorrow.

Accordingly, the fuel surcharge for domestic IndiGo flights will increase from a minimum of ₹375 to a maximum of ₹1,300, depending on the distance travelled.

For international flights, IndiGo has announced an increase in fuel charges ranging from a minimum of ₹1,000 to a maximum of ₹10,000.

The increased fuel surcharge will be added to the ticket price, resulting in higher fares for passengers travelling on IndiGo flights.
