Chennai Metro to Follow Saturday Timetable on September 4 for Krishna Jayanthi

Chennai Metro Rail services will operate according to the Saturday timetable on Friday, September 4, on account of the Krishna Jayanthi festival, which is a government holiday. The announcement was made by the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL).

According to CMRL, Chennai Metro services will operate from 5 am to 11 pm on September 4.

During the peak hours, from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 8 pm, metro trains will operate at a frequency of every six minutes.

Between 5 am and 8 am, 11 am and 5 pm, and 8 pm and 10 pm, trains will run at a frequency of every seven minutes.

During the final service hour, from 10 pm to 11 pm, Chennai Metro trains will operate every 15 minutes, CMRL said.

5 am to 8 am: Every 7 minutes

8 am to 11 am: Every 6 minutes

11 am to 5 pm: Every 7 minutes

5 pm to 8 pm: Every 6 minutes

8 pm to 10 pm: Every 7 minutes

10 pm to 11 pm: Every 15 minutes

Passengers travelling by Chennai Metro on Krishna Jayanthi are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and take note of the revised Saturday timetable.
