EPFO PF Withdrawal via UPI Soon: Instant Access to Your PF Money

In a major relief for salaried employees, the Employees` Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is set to introduce PF withdrawals through UPI from August. After successful testing, members will soon be able to transfer eligible PF funds directly to their bank accounts within minutes.

- EPFO members can withdraw eligible PF money using UPI.
- Funds will be transferred instantly to the linked bank account.
- Transactions will be secured using a UPI PIN.
- The service is expected to launch in the first week of August.

Current System:

- Instant digital withdrawal.
- Minimal paperwork.
- Faster access to emergency funds.
- Auto-Settlement Limit Increased

EPFO has already increased the auto-settlement claim limit from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh, enabling faster claim processing for illness, education, marriage, and housing-related withdrawals.

WhatsApp Services Coming Soon

EPFO is also preparing to launch WhatsApp-based member services, allowing users to:

- Check PF balance
- Track claim status
- View recent transactions
- Get support in regional languages
