Commercial LPG cylinder prices in Chennai have been increased by ₹110 with effect from January 1, 2026, oil marketing companies announced on Thursday. The hike comes after two consecutive months of price reductions, impacting hotels, restaurants, and other commercial establishments that rely heavily on LPG.
With the latest revision, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has gone up to ₹1,849.50 in Chennai.
In contrast, there is no change in domestic LPG prices. The 14-kg domestic LPG cylinder continues to be sold at ₹868.50, offering relief to household consumers.
