Commercial LPG Price in Chennai

Oil marketing companies have revised commercial LPG cylinder prices for the month. Following the latest increase, the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder, which was previously priced at ₹2,983 in Chennai, now costs ₹2,994.50.

The price revision may affect restaurants, hotels, tea shops, catering businesses and other commercial establishments that rely on LPG for cooking.

Domestic LPG Cylinder Price Remains Unchanged

There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders used by households. Domestic LPG prices have remained unchanged for the past four months.

Oil marketing companies generally review LPG cylinder prices on the first day of every month. These revisions take into account international crude oil prices, import costs and fluctuations in the Indian rupee against the US dollar.

Impact on Commercial Establishments

The latest price increase may slightly raise operating expenses for businesses that depend on commercial LPG cylinders. Restaurants and food businesses may monitor future price revisions to manage their cooking fuel costs.

Consumers are advised to check the latest LPG prices with their respective distributors before purchasing cylinders.
