The Good Person You See Depends on the Relationship You Build - A Morning Thought by J. Sampath, Founder & CEO, JB Soft System

We often divide people into two categories:

Good people.
Bad people.

But life is rarely that simple.

There is no human being who is 100% good.
There is no human being who is 100% bad.

Every person carries strengths and weaknesses, kindness and flaws, patience and frustration. The same individual who is someone`s greatest support may be another person`s greatest challenge.

Then what makes the difference?

The relationship.

How a person behaves with you is often influenced by how you relate to them. Respect invites respect. Trust encourages trust. Appreciation brings out appreciation. Kindness often awakens kindness.

This does not mean everyone will respond positively all the time. Some people may still choose conflict or negativity. But in many situations, the quality of our relationships influences the quality of people`s responses.

Keeping people happy is not about pleasing everyone or agreeing with everything they say.

It is an art.

It is the art of listening before judging.

It is the art of respecting differences.

It is the art of appreciating more than criticising.

It is the art of making others feel valued.

When people feel respected, understood and trusted, they are more likely to reveal the best version of themselves.

A peaceful home is not built because everyone is perfect.

A successful office is not created because every employee is perfect.

A strong friendship is not sustained because mistakes never happen.

They flourish because people choose understanding over ego, dialogue over assumptions and forgiveness over resentment.

Before labelling someone as a "bad person," ask yourself:

Have I truly understood them?

Have I built a meaningful relationship with them?

Sometimes the goodness we are searching for in others begins with the goodness we extend first.

Be happy.

Spread happiness.

Create an environment where people feel respected and appreciated.

Happy people naturally share more smiles, more support and more goodwill.

When you help people become happier, you often discover the goodness that was always within them.

Today`s Thought:

"Don`t spend your life searching for perfect people. Build meaningful relationships that inspire the best in ordinary people including yourself."
