Velammal Bodhi Campus Students, Dhanyasharathi & Varun S win TCS InQuizitive 2025 Chennai Edition
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 839 teams from 111 schools at the Chennai edition of its flagship annual quiz, TCS InQuizitive. The event, which was open to students from classes 8 to 12, showcased the intellectual prowess of the region’s brightest young minds.
The regional finals, held at the Music Academy auditorium in Chennai, drew a packed audience with representation from across Tamil Nadu and beyond, including Coimbatore, Erode, Kanchipuram, Madurai, Nilgiris, Puducherry, Tiruchirappalli, Tirupati, and Vellore.
After several rounds of quizzing, Dhanyasharathi and Varun S from Velammal Bodhi Campus, Coimbatore, emerged as the winners, while Darshan and Samrudh from Vidya Mandir, Mylapore, secured the runners-up position.
The prizes were distributed by Mr. Brajendra Navnit, IAS, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the World Trade Organization (WTO), Geneva, who graced the event as Chief Guest, along with Mr. Alex Duraisamy, Delivery Centre Head, TCS Chennai. The winners will now represent the state in the national finals in Mumbai, where they will compete against champions from other regional rounds across India.
TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative that has been inspiring young minds for over two decades. Introduced with the aim to spark curiosity and expand awareness among students from Grades 8 to 12, it covers diverse fields, including information technology, science, sports, engineering, and art. The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The competition will culminate in a semi-final and grand finale, where one school will be crowned the TCS InQuizitive National Champions of 2025.
