Thiram Sports Academy opens second branch at Poonamalle
Thiram Sports Academy, Chennai’s largest multi sports training academy, inaugurated its second branch in Poonamallee recently. Former Indian cricketer and CSK star Subramaniam Badrinath was the chief guest.
Thiram Sports Academy is a sports infrastructure development and sports coaching company founded by Mr. Prakash, MD & Co-Founder, Mr. Srinivas S N, ED & Co-Founder), and Mr. Navin, Director & Co-Founder. Its first branch was started in Semmacheri in the year 2023.
Speaking at the event, Badrinath said, “When I used to do commentary, I often said this - cricket is my entire life, and I give my complete commitment to it. Whatever the field - be it sports or life, always give your 100% with purpose and dedication. If you stay true to your process and combine it with physical energy, every challenge you face can be turned into a six.”
The founders of Thiram Sports Academy are striving to create sporting professionals who can represent our state and country in different tournaments both domestically and internationally.
On the launch of the second branch, Mr. Navin, Director & Co-Founder, Thiram Sports Academy and Managing Director, Navin’s said, “We are glad to open our facility at Poonamalle after experiencing the overwhelming response from sports enthusiasts in and around Semmanchery. Strong sports infrastructure at the grassroots level is the foundation for nurturing future talent, and Poonamallee deserves such a facility.”
Mr. Prakash, Managing Director and Co-Founder, added that Thiram Sports Academy aims to create nationwide network of training hubs, giving every aspiring athlete a chance to pursue their dreams by providing the right coaching, facilities and guidance.
With world-class facilities at Semmanchery and Poonamallee, Thiram is shaping talented youngsters into champions.
