Prices of new bikes and cars to go up from tomorrow (1st Sep)
As per the Motor Vehicles Act, 3rd party insurance has been made mandatory. Due to this, the prices of the cars and 2-wheelers will increase from tomorrow (Saturday, 1st September).
With the High Court releasing an order to make long-term 3rd party insurance mandatory, the 3rd party insurance coverage for a period of 3 years has been made mandatory. In a similar procedure, the 3rd party insurance coverage for the 2-wheelers for 5 years has also been made mandatory.
With the above, the prices of cars will go up in the range of Rs. 5000 to Rs. 24000. The price of the 2-wheelers will be up in the range of Rs. 1000 to Rs. 13000.
