Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin Inaugurates 25 Anbusolai Senior Care Centres
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated 25 ‘Anbusolai’ senior citizen care centres across the state via video conferencing from Tiruchirappalli. These centres, established under the Social Welfare Department, aim to ensure the safety, well-being, and social engagement of senior citizens.
Built at a total cost of ₹10 crore, the Anbusolai centres provide day-care facilities including libraries, yoga sessions, physiotherapy, and recreational activities. Additionally, senior citizens visiting these centres will receive free lunch and snacks, organized in collaboration with private partners.
The initiative is designed to promote physical and mental health, enhance community interaction, and offer a safe environment for the elderly across Tamil Nadu.
