Tamil Nadu Opens 50 New Permanent Aadhaar Service Centers

The Tamil Nadu government has inaugurated 50 new permanent Aadhaar service centers, increasing the total from 266 to 316 centers across the state.
The ELCOT agency will receive 300 additional Aadhaar enrollment kits from UIDAI and hand them over to the School Education Department to speed up Aadhaar-related services for students.
Additionally, the government has planned 79 special Aadhaar camps in 16 districts, including Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, and Villupuram, to help students easily update or enroll for Aadhaar.
