Gold Price Surges Again in Chennai This Evening!
The price of gold continues its upward trend in Chennai, with sharp fluctuations seen throughout the day. After rising in the morning, gold prices increased further by evening, leaving buyers surprised once again.
Today, the price of ornamental gold in Chennai rose by Rs. 440 per sovereign, bringing the total to Rs. 92,640 per sovereign. The price per gram of gold also increased by Rs. 55, now selling at Rs. 11,580 per gram.
Last week, the gold price crossed Rs. 91,000 per sovereign, and with today’s surge, it is fast approaching the Rs. 93,000 mark - a new milestone in the domestic market.
Meanwhile, silver prices have also seen an upward movement. The price of silver increased by Rs. 2 per gram, now selling at Rs. 197 per gram in Chennai.
Experts suggest that global economic trends and festive season demand are driving the continuous surge in precious metal prices.
