Good news!! Job fair for the TN Govt college students, more companies to take part!!
In the form of a job fair, there is some superb news for all the college going students across TN!!
For the students from government and aided colleges across TN, the Higher Education Department or HED would be organising a job fair.
As per a senior official from HED it was clear that TN government has been taking many efforts to help the students from govt colleges, both engineering as well as arts & sciences colleges to find jobs. For this, every year job fairs have been conducted in these govt colleges in TN.
The placement cells in the TN state owned colleges have been revamped to provide more job opportunities for the students. This was according to the official. He added that placement cells have been filled with teachers as placement officers. The HED has already joined hands with several multi- national companies. It is superb to note that in 2025 more companies would be coming for job fairs.
On 12th September 2025, the department of employment and training had organised micro job fairs in places like Ariyalur, Thoothukudi and Mayiladuthurai etc. On 13th September, Cuddalore job fair was organised. It must be taken into note that on 19th September placement drives in places like Virudhunagar, Tiruppur and Salem would take place. This was as per official records. It is now expected that more job opportunities would also be created through job fairs in Kallakurichi, Tenkasi and Tiruvannamalai etc in this month.
