Lateral entry programme - Students could enter into second year B.Com course directly now

Completing a diploma and going straight into the second year B.Com would be possible now!! Many class 10students would feel delighted by this information.
The Commercial Practise course that has been offered in the government polytechnics could be taken up by a student who has completed class 10. By this, the student could pursue a B.Com course. Sound�s incredible isn�t it!!
Information gathered is that the 2 or 3 year diploma course is open to candidates who have completed class 10 or class 12. It is now brought out that after successfully completing the diploma course the students would be able to gain lateral entry to the 2nd year B.Com programme.
The students gaining lateral entry need not feel inferior to those who study the 3 year B.Com programme.
